Who We Are
The Canadian Fastener Institute (CFI) was founded in 1955 to promote the best interests of the Canadian Fastener Industry in all matters of common interest. The Institute serves as the unified voice in dealing with Government on matters related to the fastener industry.
Since inception, the CFI has worked to increase and expand the fastener knowledge of both resellers and industrial users through seminars and educational presentations. The CFI's Technical Committee has worked to combine the technical knowledge of its members to develop standards and advance fastening technology.
Today its members sit on the influential Industrial Fasteners Institute Technical Committee - considered to be one of the worlds leading proponents of fastener standards and specifications.
We at the CFI believe that by joining and strengthening our association, we will create a single, unified voice with which to address our industries' concerns at all levels of Government.
The CFI offers the opportunity to establish invaluable industry contacts and to strengthen existing relationships with the manufacturers of this industry through meetings, seminars and other activities the institute holds throughout the year. It provides the forum to assist in shaping the industry, influencing change and developing the standards necessary to provide the highest quality products.
