Join the Institute
Membership in the corporation is limited to persons interested in furthering the objects of the corporation and open to anyone whose application for admission as a member has received the approval of the board of directors of the corporation, and the general membership.
For the purposes of membership, a "fastener" is defined as a manufactured metal component whose end use is specific to a joining or assembly application, including, without limitation, cold headed products, hot headed products, threaded rod, washers, and internally or externally threaded machine products.
There are two categories of Membership:
- Producer of Mechanical fasteners
- Associate is an entity whose principal business relates directly to the fastener manufacturing process
Membership excludes entities whose primary business is distribution.
